If a volunteer is under the age of 16, they must be accompanied by an adult that is 21 or older. • We accept community service hours for schools and organizations. • We cannot provide community service hours for felonies, misdemeanors, infractions (including speeding tickets), or court-ordered service for drug, alcohol, or violence cases. • Volunteers needing community service hours for school must track their own hours. • Conduct yourself in a way that reflects Christ and respect everyone on campus. - Service Credit Options - • Gift-in-kind donations: 1 hour = $10 (max 10 hours). No tax receipt. • Meals (homemade or store-bought): 5 hours = 1 meal for 12 people. No tax receipt. - Procedures - • Complete a volunteer application online. Staff will review and contact you regarding your application. • Sign in and out at the gift shop each day (the first building you see when you arrive on campus). • Stay out of staff-only areas unless instructed by a staff member to do otherwise. • No running, throwing, or bouncing balls indoors. • In emergencies, follow staff guidance. Group leaders are responsible for their group. - Social Media & Content - • Photography is encouraged. Please tag The Mustard Seed. • Share videos with the Volunteer Coordinator before posting. • No private communication with Seedsters on social media. - Working with Seedsters - • Let staff handle behavioral issues.
